50 Hours in Mt Olympus

Mt Olympus Top

That time I climbed Mt Olympus in Greece. Stood at 2918 meters high, this sacred mountain has so many legends attached to it. It was pretty surreal to actually climb the this lengedary mountain. Didn’t make it to the peak but was pretty close. For the average person, it takes about 2 days to climb to the top.

I didn’t see anything. Not in the I didn’t see Zeus kind of way. It was just so foggy that I felt I was literally in the clouds. But there is a sight called Zeus’s bathtub, which is a river that nourishes the residents nearby.

And yes you can ski at Mt Olympus! Sits on the northern slopes, Elatochori Ski Center has 2 slopes and 6 tracks. Looking for somewhere new to ski this winter? Check out Mt Olympus.
